Thomas F. Shannon is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Lucky Strike Entertainment. Over nearly three decades, he has redefined bowling and social entertainment by blending hospitality, nightlife, technology, food and beverage, and immersive guest experiences into a category-leading brand.
Shannon founded the company in 1997 with the acquisition of the original Bowlmor Lanes in Manhattan, reimagining it as an upscale entertainment destination and a model for modernizing the industry. From that single location, the business grew through strategic acquisitions and operational discipline into the world's largest operator of bowling entertainment centers. Under his leadership, the company acquired AMF Bowling Centers, the bowling centers of the Brunswick Corporation, Bowl America and Lucky Strike, expanded the Lucky Strike brand nationwide, and has continued to evolve beyond traditional bowling into family entertainment centers and large-scale water parks.
Known for his entrepreneurial instinct, disciplined growth strategy, and ability to identify overlooked opportunities, Shannon has built a company generating more than a billion dollars in annual revenue. His leadership continues to position Lucky Strike Entertainment at the forefront of modern experiential leisure, creating destinations that bring people together through entertainment, competition, dining, and social connection.
Mr. Shannon holds an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and is a graduate of American University.
